Course Description
IBM Tivoli Data Warehouse uses embedded technology that provides the backbone repository for all historical systems management data and the basis for all Tivolireporting solutions. During the course, students will install and configure IBM Tivoli Data Warehouse, install and configure a WEP, do performance tuning, configure the IBM HTTP Server and use the Crystal Reports reporting features. This training is done in a classroom environment with hands-on laboratory opportunities to practice concepts by performing student exercises that reflect real-world scenarios.

Objectives

• Install and configure ITD Warehouse 1.2.
• Install and configure a Warehouse Enablement Pack (WEP).
• Use troubleshooting techniques and strategies for potential real-life errors that may occur.
• Perform performance tuning and maintain the TDW database.
• Configure the IBM HTTP Server for use with the Crystal Reports Server engine for delivery of web-based reports.
• Use the Crystal Reporting Features to: run a pre-defined report, set up a user, and manage the included reports.
