Course Description
This classroom course including hands-on labs is targeted for system or network administrators responsible for IBM WebSphere MQ security. IBM Tivoli Access Manager for Business Integration allows IBM WebSphere MQ applications to send data with confidentiality and integrity by using keys associated with the sending and receiving applications. Application level data protection enhances the SSL channel security that is part of IBM WebSphere MQ, Version 5.3. IBM Tivoli Access Manager for Business Integration allows customers to set a specific message data protection policy that will be enforced on each message. Customers can now secure sensitive transactions end-to-end, with no gaps while messages are resident in queues, unlike when using channel-exit based solutions.

Objectives

After completing the IBM Tivoli Access Manager for Business Integration 5.1 course, students should be able to accomplish the following:

• Install and configure IBM Tivoli Access Manager for e-business 5.1 components and supporting software.
• Install IBM WebSphere MQ 5.3.
• Install and configure IBM Tivoli Access Manager for Business Integration 5.1
• Use Web Portal Manager to create Access Manager for e-business user, group, Access Control List (ACL), and Protected Object Policy (POP)
• Use Web Portal Manager to manage IBM Tivoli Access Manager for Business Integration objects
• Create self-signed certificates for use with IBM Tivoli Access Manager for Business Integration applications
• Map PKI certs to IBM Tivoli Access Manager for e-business users
• Use IBM Directory Server 5.1 as user registry
• Use commands of IBM Tivoli Access Manager for Business Integration
• Use IBM Tivoli Access Manager for Business Integration Server interceptor, C Client interceptor, and JMS interceptor to protect IBM WebSphere MQ messages with security protection of Integrity and Privacy
• Identify and correct common errors
